Diet: Fruit Intake Associated with Lower Risk of Obesity

Researchers followed 18,146 middle-age women for nearly 16 years and found that those who consumed the highest number of servings of fruit per day were 18% less likely to be overweight or obese at the end of the study when compared to the participants who consumed the fewest servings of fruit per day.
