imagesAccording to Dr. Sarah Keim, a researcher at the Center for Biobehavioral Health at the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, only 54% of children eat at least one serving of fish per month. Fish is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. She found that children who consume low levels of healthy fats tend to continue to do so as they age, so incorporating healthy fats into a young child’s diet is important.
